Biography:
Dr. Geetha is a Professor in INTI International University, Malaysia. She graduated from University of Malaysia (UM) in 1999 with Ph.D. in Medical Virology. She is a dedicated academician with more than 10 years of experience in teaching, and more than 30 years of research experience with more than 50 publications in reputed journals, to date. Her main research is focused on antibiotic resistance in pathogens and screening indigenous herbs for antimicrobial activity whereby this research could be translated into suitable options to eventually replace or potentiate the use of antibiotics
